Paneer Tikka Kathi Roll Dhaba Style

    Ingredients

    Marination

    • Yogurt - 3/4 Cup
    • Lemon Juice - 1.5 Tsp
    • Ginger Garlic Paste - 1 Tbsp
    • Ajwain / Carom Seeds - 1/2 Tsp
    • Dhaniya / Coriander Powder - 2 Tsp
    • Jeera / Cumin Powder - 1 Tsp
    • Garam Masala - 1.5 Tsp
    • Aamchur Powder / Dry Mango Powder - - 1/2 Tsp
    • Kala Namak / Black Himalayan Salt - 1/2 Tsp
    • Turmeric - 1/2 Tsp
    • Kashmiri Lal Mirch / Red Chili Powder - 2 Tsp
    • Onions - 1 Cup Sliced
    • Green Peppers / Shima Mirch - 1 Cup Sliced
    • Paneer - 300 gms Big Cubes
    • Oil - 2 Tbsp

    Kathi Roll

    • Oil - 3 Tsp
    • Roti / Flour Tortilla 10 inch - 5
    • Coriander / Green Chutney - 5 Tbsp
    • Patta Gobi / Cabbage - 1 Cup Finely Shredded
    • Onions - 1 Cup Finely Shredded

    Instructions

    Marination

    1. In a big bowl , take Yogurt, Lemon Juice, Ginger Garlic paste and all dry spices.
    2. Mix Well.
    3. Now add Onions, Green Peppers and Cubed Paneer.
    4. Mix gently and refrigerate for 30 mins.

    Cook Paneer Tikka

    1. Take a shallow pan on Medium Low heat.
    2. Add oil and the marinated paneer tikka.
    3. Cook for 2-3 minutes then turn them over and cook other side.
    4. Repeat the process till yogurt dries up and Paneer are cooked.
    5. Dont over cook as the paneer may dry up and become rubbery.

    Cook Roti

    1. In a pan or tawa add some oil and cook the roti / flour tortilla on both sides.

    Assemble

    1. Take a rectangular foil peice and place it on the bottom half of the plate.
    2. Put the roti on plate. Now take a Tablespoon of green chutney and spread it evenly on the roti.
    3. Place some cabbage in the center.
    4. Now place a few paneer peices and masala.
    5. Top it with some Onions and Chaat Masala per your taste.
    6. Now fold the roti into a roll along with the foil.
    7. Serve with Green chutney.
