Ingredients
- Ghee - 1 Tbsp
- Butter - 1 Tbsp
- Dry Red Chillies / Sukhi Lal Mirch - 2
- Bay Leaves/ Tej Patta - 2
- Cinnamon Stick / Dal Chinni - 1
- Black Cardamon - 2
- Green Cardamon - 4
- Cloves - 5
- Black Peppercorn - 1/4 Tsp
- Onions - 2 Cups Chopped
- Ginger - 2 Inch Jullian
- Garlic - 1 Tbsp Minced
- Yogurt - 3/4 Cup Strained
- Tomatoes Pulp - 1 Cup
- Coriander / Dhaniya Powder - 2 Tsp
- Roasted Cumin/ Jeera Powder - 1/2 Tsp
- Kashmiri Lal Mirch - 2 Tsp
- Red Chilli Powder - 1/2 Tsp
- Roasted Gram Flour - 2 Leaves
- Turmeric Powder / Haldi - 1/2 Tsp
- Dry Fenugreek Leaves / Kasori Methi / 1.5 Tbsp
- Salt - 1.5 Tsp
- Water - 2 Cups
- Paneer - 400 GMS
- Fresh Cilantro / Dhaniya - 2 Tbsp
Instructions
Roasted Gram Flour / Roasted Besan
- Take besan in a pan and roast it until light golden on medium flame.
- Note - Keep flame on medium to high heat throughout.
- Heat Oil and Butter in a pan.
- Add Dry Red Chillies, Bay Leaves, Cinnamon Stick, Cloves, Black Peppercorn, Black Cardamon and Green Cardamon once the ghee and butter is heated.
- Roast the wholes spices for couple of minutes.
- Add Onions and cook until Translucent.
- Add Garlic and Ginger and cook for couple of minutes.
- Add Yogurt and mix well. Cook until the ghee starts to separate from the gravy.
- Add Tomato pulp and Salt.
- Cook until the you see ghee separating from gravy.
- Add Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder, Turmeric Powder, Coriander Powder,Red Chilli Powder, Roasted Jeera Powder and mix well.
- Now add Roasted Gram Flour and cook for 2 more minutes.
- Add Water and mix well.
- Now add Paneer cubes and mix carefully.
- Add Green Chillies and cook for 5 minutes with a lid on.
- Remove the lid and gently mix it.
- Add Kasori Methi and Butter and mix well.
- Garnish with chopped Cilantro.
- Serve with your favorite breads!!
